From Chapter 5, problems: 3, 5, 6

From Chapter 6, problems: 3, 6, 7

From Chapter 7, Problems: 1, and either 7.4 (if you have the old book) or 7.7 (if you have the new book)

Note that we are not covering the material on atomic transactions (7.10) nor section 6.7 in the new book.
