COSC 231 WINTER 2012 Project #1 HTML
Distributed: 17 January 2012 Due: 26 January 2012
Consider the sample HTML page here.
Modify this page to do the following:
- Offer the users the colors black, white, green, orange, and purple in addition to red and blue (both text color and background color)
- Use a map with the image from http://jaksview3.wordpress.com/category/art/artists/jak-king/digital-prints/
to let the user identify the colors red, blue and yellow on the image.
You do not have to be precise, but you should be accurate. (That means you don't have to cover *all* the red or blue,
but you must *not*
identify red as being blue, etc.)
Publish and demo
- Upload your working webpage to pp1.html.
- Make a link to pp1.html from your index page.
- Demonstrate your pp1.html and give a code walk through to Dr Haynes or to Tao Zhang.
Your source code must include your name, the date, COSC 231, and PP1 at the beginning of the file as comments.
Grading.
This is all or nothing. Demonstrate it well before the due date to make certain you have everything accomplished.
- Header information (name, date, etc)
- Working table and clickable images
- Correct image map
- Published correctly
